Audrey Gugel is an Alaska Native, Sugpiaq Alutiiq of Kodiak, a Shareholder of KONIAG Regional Native Corporation and Ouzinkie Native Corporation.
She is married to Matthew Dierlam, Advertising & Marketing Consultant in the Pacific NW. He launched several publications to include The Alaska Native Directory, The Bush Shopper and First Alaskans Magazine.
Audrey is a mother of three children Amos, James, Anesia, and two grandchildren Kepler & Cora, residing in Anchorage, Seattle & San Diego.

Audrey is the granddaughter of Willie Katelnikoff and Netti Anderson of Ouzinkie. As a young child, Audrey was adopted by Betty Anderson Gugel and Gerold Gugel Sr. when her mother Anita Katelnikoff passed away.
Audrey is a descendant of the John William Anderson and Sonja Pesterkoff Anderson family lines of Ouzinkie. Sonja Pesterkoff is the grand-daughter of Fedocia Zeranoff.
Raised by the Gugel’s in Kodiak, she spent the summers of her childhood out on the fishing grounds of Kodiak Island - from Uganik Bay to Kupreanof Straits and Perinosa Bay off Shuyak Is.
